Adesugata Junjou Boy

This is the first work by goat Fujisawa Tohru the author of GTO. The synopsis already covers this but this is a story with a trans mc who is a male but was raised his entire life as a female. Its mainly a comedy with a little bit of romance especially as it progresses. The humor is pretty good with it being a toned down version of something like dokuro-chan where normally a reaction of maybe punching someone will be stabbed, blown up or smashed with a giant hammer. It has the cool 1980s vibe with the artstyle and the inclusion of delinquent or yankitype characters. Basically for the plot the main trans girl starts attending a boarding school because her parents want her to get more used to acting like a girl in public, and the fact that she isn't a real girl and still has her yuh hanging is unknown to everyone but her roomate / best friend that helps her hide it from everyone. The school is unisex but the living dorms they actually are in are separated by gender so the mc is in the all girls one. The mc is also dumb asf so she will constantly be almost f*ing everything up until her roomate comes in and saves her from the situation. The romance part is basically the female roomate starts crushing on the mc. Read it back in 2020 but had a quick refresh bc I saw nobody has reviewed it for some reason. Overall its pretty good, the humor is decent, art is decent and if you like 1980s series or rom-com type shit try this.
