Honestly, this OVA is a kinda strange but a nice watch. Not really sure about the in-s and out-s of the plot was except the core tenets, so while I get the overarching theme and plot but there remain some why-s: why Sakura left, why she came in the first place, why does Sakura looks like Sakura from Naruto, what was the point of the entire horse segment, etc., etc, ... bizarre stuff or stuff that I assume was included more coherently in the manga (which I can't find online in english). Yet somehow, its fever-dream-ness is charming. It's random interjections of absolute homosexuality betweencharacters was something I found quite cute. I genuinely enjoyed watching it; I was mentally drained and in a pissy mood when I stumbled across this, and now here I am, 90 minutes later, writing my first ever MAL review. I recommend you watch it, not for a tight plot or fully coherent story, but for a mild fever dream that quite effectively communicates its themes of love; of what you are willing to do for that love; and that you are you, no matter where or when you are. Solid 8/10. Can't really explain why. I'm generally a harsh-ish grader, but I liked this one; hopefully, you will too.
