It's a really cute and sweet movie as you might expect, can't say much more than that. I saw it in theatres twice, once for a free test screening and then again when it was airing for general audiences since I liked it a lot and wanted to pay to support the creators. The main two girls, Fujiko and Chizuru, are really lively and inspiring for following their dreams against all odds, even when their families don't approve and the world around them is in turmoil. There's a bunch of kooky and supportive side characters to liven things up and move the plot along aswell, the drunk femcel auntie is especially hilarious and is my spirit animal. The story does focus much more on Chizuru's ballet dreams and naginata career than Fujiko's artistic ambitions, as Fujiko is mainly busy supporting Chizuru while also working and attracting all of the aforementioned side characters since Chizuru is shy and Fujiko is not shy in the least. The art and animation are of course, fantastic, there's maybe 1 or 2 moments of jarring CGI but that's to be expected. The music is good, it doesn't stand out a lot for the most part but there's some moments when it does such as when Rouslan is playing the piano. The voice acting is excellent, there's a lot of PASSIONATE SHOUTING which I think is purposely comedic for the most part? It's a funny movie. Really good action and ballet scenes. This review makes no sense but anyway I think all fans of good anime and good movies in general should give it a watch when you can, you'll probably enjoy it.
