When Lizel mysteriously finds himself in a city that bears odd similarities to his own but clearly isn't, he quickly comes to terms with the unlikely truth: this is an entirely different world. Even so, laid-back Lizel isn't the type to panic. He immediately sets out to learn more about this strange place, and to help him do so, hires a seasoned adventurer named Gil as his tour guide and protector. Until he's able to find a way home, Lizel figures this is a perfect opportunity to explore a new way of life adventuring as part of a guild. After all, he's sure he'll go home eventually... might as well enjoy the otherworldly vacation for now! (Source: Tokyopop)

More BL than most BL anime. I love it. Would highly recommend it. I have to write more about it but i don't want to spoil. If you want something easygoing as well as feel-good, it's for you. Are you OPENMINDU?!! You don't get an overpowered protag here. He's strong because he's smart, but physically week.. So he has a harem protecting him. Think of it as the classiest and pretty human being in existance making everyone turn their head twice. Who doesn't like that?? Hilarious moment tho: !st episode, the Blade's face is shaped like a Chad. No hate because it's hilarious. If thankfully gets fixed little by littleso no worries there. I relate too much to the blondy on episode 12. I'm her.
Funny thing I noticed is that most people who don't recommend dropped it by ep 3 which is where I thought of dropping too however I was still chilling and enjoying and therr are a number of Animes that came to be favorites that I only started liking by ep 6 or even 8! So I continued watching. By the end I was considering buying the manga. So enjoyable. If you like a chill slice of life adventure with pretty characters that protect the protagonist, this is for you. It's not BL although with heavy BL undertones. By the end I wanted to protect Lizeltoo. He's the kind of character that grows on you the more time you spend with him. I really recommend.
It's a slow paced adventure that grows with each episode. Lizel takes his time to carefully analyze each situation and maneuver things to his advantage. He's slowly building a harem of hot guys who would kill for him just by being his cute self. Definitely watch if you enjoy comfy vibes, slow burn, and slice of life. I wish I had a cozy adventure surrounded by hot guys tbh. Art style is cute, story is unique, and the characters have interesting friction. The dungeon exploring is mostly just a casual side plot, so don't expect big action scenes. I can't wait to see why my boyslipped into a parallel world. (it's not isekai, btw)
Though there is definitely an audience for this show it did feel rather lacklustre. This probably would bave benefited from just allowing itself to be a BL and leaning into the heavy handed BL implications that persisted from the very first episode. However,it insists on having as many homoerotic implications as possible while dodging around simply allowing itself to be a gay story. Though the premise had potential and the concept of a cute twink making every man who sees him want to immediately follow him around like a love sick pup is certainly something that has a potential audience (myself included), it falls flatin terms of narrative. The focus seems to be on attracting a fujoshi audience rather than any real plotline. Any sense of tension was so quickly dealt with that it made no significant impact and the story feels like somewhat of an afterthought. It does have some positives. The characters are quite fun, each having distinct quirks and personality archtypes that all have some charm to them. The show also has a relaxing quality, it's the sort of narrative one can just sink into without having to pay close attention which can make for a nice cosy watch. It's nothing special as a series but there is certainly an appeal for the right audience, especially those who simply enjoy watching cute guys fawn over each other which can be fun in its own right.
I honestly can’t fully explain why I stuck with this one—it’s super episodic, predictable, and nothing really stands out. But somehow, I just liked it. Lizel is a refreshing MC: calm, smart, and socially aware without being edgy or overpowered. His dynamics with the cast carry the show more than the story itself. Animation and character design are pretty mid, and overall it’s kind of a “nothing burger”… but still a really chill, pleasant watch. It’s a “turn your brain off after a long day of work” type of show and I’m cool with it 🤗 Would I watch a season 2? Yeah, probably.
