Synopsis

A historical fantasy set in third century (i.e., mythical) Japan. It tells the story of Izumo, the young prince of Nakatsukuni. He's not very interested in studying, unlike his cousin Dekiru; instead, he wants to see the wider world. One day, a mysterious girl named Sanae shows up as a stowaway on an airship. Although nominally from Yamataikoku, she is actually from the Naga, a shadowy people possessing magical powers. Sanae is kidnapped by Takeru, a warrior from the rival kingdom of Akusa, and placed at the mercy of the evil witch Yomihime. Izumo, helped by an orphaned glider pilot named Navi, must now take up the sacred sword of his country, master its powers, and rescue Sanae. However, before that, he must defeat the reawakened eight-headed snake of legend, Yamata-no-Orochi. (Source: Orphan Fansubs)

The least I can say is this is a cheap budget ghibli movie, but I could guarantee you that you won't regret wasting your time on this! The visuals were stunning and soothing to the eyes, it resembles more of a ghibli movie style. The characters are quite interesting and makes sense.The storyline makes sense and it also keeps me interested until the end! Of course, compared to a ghibli movie, it lacks of execution on production and detail, but there is something I like most from this anime. The music standed out the most to me, I can't stop falling in love listening toit. I like how it plays whenever something overwhelming happens or when romantic circumstances occurs. Anyways, I love it and I'm here inviting you to share this masterpiece with me :D

i watch it when i was going home from my friend's fasting together i started to watch this and according to me it's good experience,the backgrounds are good, the music is beautiful and the animation is better but sometimes bad,the artstyle are pretty but cute,the pasing are rushed,the battle scene is make me very have a tension but the ending i hate it why the ending is a cliffhanger and why there's no sequel about izumo is now revenge to takeru and saving sanae?,maybe everyone will hate this just bc the nude scene,and according to me sanae is a ditzy girl who is izumo's loverand izumo is a very "childish" and the others are bland,the only character that i like when i watch it is takeru (although he is remind to my former favorite cookie run character shadow milk and terrible mouse character pukasi),the story is unique but predictable,the characters are have a very bland writing i rate it 6
