I really don't know… this season left me with a strange feeling from beginning to end. Right from the start, I was surprised by the existence of this continuation. Honestly, after what was presented in the second season, I didn't see any need to continue the story. It seemed like everything was already well underway and even closed. Still, they decided to continue, and in my view, the justification for this only becomes clearer in the final episodes. Technically, there's not much to criticize. The animation is consistent, the soundtrack works well, and the sound effects fulfill their role without compromising the experience. It's not a productionthat will stand out for excellence in these aspects, but it doesn't disappoint either; it's competent in what it sets out to do. The biggest problem, for me, is the story. For a good part of the season, I simply couldn't see a strong reason for this continuation to exist. It was only around episode 20 that I started to understand where everything was going. And indeed, episodes 21 and 22 offer a more concrete justification, mainly by delving deeper into the character of the hooded man and his motivations within that world. Even so, I can't help but feel it was too long a journey for a relatively simple explanation. The feeling is that the work drags on excessively with uninteresting plots, almost as if it were "padding," only to then reach the main point. If this story had been condensed into something like 12 episodes, I believe it would have been much more efficient and impactful. This slow pace ended up significantly harming my experience. Watching weekly, there were moments when I really felt bored, and that's worrying. I almost dropped the season precisely because of this delay in developing something relevant. In the end, my rating is around a 6. It's not bad, but it's also far from something I would easily recommend. For me, the second season already concluded the concept of the work much better. This third option ends up being slower, less engaging, and, at many points, simply tiring.

Great end to a great season. Though I can understand the viewpoints of the people who disliked this season compared to others. This season covers the Present Arc. Compared to the Past Arc, this season had more drama with a bit of action. Fushi enters a world full of modern day technology and modern day people. He managed to spread his roots throughout the entire world, and though it was all fun and games in the beginning, he soon learns the struggles that modern day people face. It's not too bad, but since his goal is to make everyone especially his friends happy, he struggles withadapting to society. For the most part, it feels like a drama mixed with slice-of-life season until he learns that the Knockers still exist, so there’s still a bit of action. While this season gave most people mixed feelings, I definitely think it has the weakest impact of the series. The next season gets more interesting as the future and final arc, so I look forward to that. Music: I'm surprised it changed. It's cool and fitting for the season. I don't think 'Pink Blood' would've fit this vibe. The ending is nice. I love instrumental chill music. Overall: It's a hit or miss. If you're this deep into the story already, I'd say it's worth watching and recommend it to know what's going on. Though when the Future Arc comes out I'll be ready to watch for sure!
