One Piece: Infection Prevention Message from the Straw Hat Pirates

Having a separate entry because of technicality rather than being what would most call an anime, these short clips are a public service announcement with One Piece characters. Visually it’s quite simple, one background for all of these shorts, and not much movement animation. It’s also very short, but that’s kinda given, being just and announcement. Content-wise, it’s a nice attempt to make normally boring infodumping a bit more entertaining. You also have to keep in mind that this is obviously aimed at the younger audience. I’m sure someone somewhere should object to One Piece characters being mouthpiece for unrelated announcements, but “wash your hands, sleepwell” isn’t any nefarious message to convey. It’s really hard to judge this as an anime, but if judged as a PSA, it’s quite alright, better than most even. So, fine it is.
