Bartolomeo and a few mysterious guests recap the adventures of the Straw Hat Crew in the Land of Wano. From Monkey D. Luffy's first encounter with Otama to even the worst generation pirates' final confrontation with Big Mom and Kaido on the roof of Onigashima. The retelling of this exciting tale is just as riveting as the first. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

I was really excited for the Barto filler because you know it was Barto and we haven't had filler in a while, BUT to my disappointment, it was just a recap of Wano to Raid on Onigashima with Barto and O-Tama. No new content just recap, It was just O-Tama telling Barto what Luffy did in Wano and Barto reacting. Highly disappointed, I at least expected some random side story, not recap. Barto and O-Tama were drawn in chibi form which I thought was pretty cute. Barto didn't do much other than react to O-Tama telling him what Luffy did in Wano so I think itshould have been called O-Tama something and have Barto as a guest
I don't know why I keep reviewing random recap episodes, but I don't know why people read them anyway, so here I am cycling through this self-induced paradox. This was a 2 episode parter recap that goes through the major bullet points of the Wano arc so far, I still suffer from the constant flashback of episodes 914 and 915 but this recap did not cut me any slack either, but for what it is, it was a nice catch up on everything happening as of now, the placement is understandable because of how close and tight the deadlines are, so do as many recaps asyou want Toei, as long as we get to have episodes like 1015 all over again.
A little disappointed by the fact that this is a recap episode of One Piece. Story wise, as a recap episode, it's expected to has nothing new. But if you have missed some episodes of the One Piece series, it might be a good to watch. Still, quite some fun and heart-warming scenes that bring back your memory of those blood pumping times. The art work can be improved. Lower quality than I expected. The sound and VO are fine. Characters are good scripted. My favorite character in this episode is given to Barto. Overall, it's not a bad choice to fill your time duringthis pandemic.
Well… it’s right there, isn’t it? Basically, it’s a compilation of jokes and small satires involving some scenes from the Wano arc, mixed with commentary on the episodes themselves. Bartolomeo and Tama are the ones who lead everything. Since they are both naturally cheerful and charismatic characters, it’s actually quite “nice” to follow their lines and reactions. Bartolomeo freaking out as a fan and Otama reacting to situations creates some endearing moments. It’s not something that will make you laugh out loud or be super entertained, but at least it adds a certain charm to the segment. But, to be honest, that’s all there is toit. There’s no focus on elaborate animation, no memorable soundtrack, no truly relevant new scenes, and certainly nothing that expands the story. Visually, it’s quite simple and clearly wasn’t made to be elaborate content. It’s more of a short segment, almost like an “extra” thrown in the middle of the programming. In fact, this "special" (if you can even call it that) wasn't even shown separately. It came along with the regular episodes of the Wano arc. At the end of the episode, they'd take a few minutes and insert this panel before finishing everything. In other words, it basically occupied a chunk of time that could have been used for the main narrative. And here's a point that's already well-known to those who have followed the One Piece anime for a long time: this clearly serves as a way to slow down the story's pace. At the time, the anime was already getting very close to Eiichiro Oda's manga. Since the manga is weekly and needs time to progress, the studio needs to avoid catching up to the original material too quickly. So, various strategies emerge: slower-paced episodes, recaps, extended scenes… and also things like this little special. In the end, it seems like just another one of those resources used to buy time until there are more manga chapters to adapt. That doesn't mean it's horrible or annoying to watch. It's simply… neutral. It's not offensive, it doesn't get in the way too much, but it also adds practically nothing. The only part that's even remotely funny is the interactions between Bartolomeo and Tama commenting on the situations. Aside from that, there's not much to highlight. It's the kind of content you watch once, think "okay," maybe crack a smile at some of the characters' comments… and then quickly forget it existed. It's not memorable, it's not essential to the story, and it definitely doesn't change the experience of the Wano arc. To sum it up: it's not bad, but it's nothing special either. It's just… something that's there.
