When something needs the oomph factor, there's always a word to describe it: Extra. But when it concerns a show that's just as trash it is enjoyable, you need a Super treatment. That how you get S Ex: Super Extra. That's a clever way to describe the sequel of a show where, come to think of it, I actually enjoyed more than I did remember it was before. It's of no surprise that Peter Grill is back with his sexual misadventures since Season 1 back in Summer 2020 being the all-knowing ecchi, NTR trash show that it is, that despite my disdain for the show whenit initially came out, I eventually came to appreciate it for its over-the-top sexual humour. And being the strongest warrior in a sea of women while being devoted to the love of his life, it was a journey of rough seas and lots of off-screen penetration and loss of virginities, and Peter Grill is the running gag of emotions broken each and every time he "devours" a girl, no matter the race. And Season 2 follows up on the same regard being a continuation of the strongest warrior's claim to eventually win over Luvellia through her preposterous father being a sick joke, testing him in all ways to ensure that he gives up the marriage proposal with his daughter. As much as I would want to like the sequel, it was sadly a step down from what I could expect much more of mangaka Daisuke Hiyama's series, being so repetitive of the "man gets women" formula that's the staple of the manga, and now the anime. Let me put it bluntly: there just wasn't the amount of effort put into this, despite the staff team remaining virtually the same, and involving a secondary studio in the form of the Hentai studio Seven. This was more muted when compared to WolfsBane's lone efforts in the prequel, and even then, the same recurring jokes and pleasantries honestly just gets stale over time to the point of boredom. I understand why there're the minority of fans for this show, but for the life of me, I suffered more than I enjoyed getting the same amount of enjoyment as I've had in Season 1. The production is definitely a step-down involving studio Seven being the 3rd-rate Hentai studio we all know and hate, and the OST is absolute ass. Not to flounder on Vtuber Isekaijoucho, but her OP song, while it does sound nice, it does not fit into the show's themes at all, nadda. I would've taken Yui Ninomiya's Season 1 OP ANY DAY being a more engaging song than this. It's so weird and astonishing at the same time when things are chosen at random. At least Hilcrhyme's ED is a lot better this time, and rhythmically fits into the series like an already die-cast mould. Even with the uncensored version, this still kinda rubs me the wrong way. Great if you enjoyed it, but to me, Season 1 is still miles better.
Exactly what you'd expect. A good situational comedy involving a guy who just wants to be with the one woman who can't because the other "casual" gals want that tube lube from him. The comedies good for an ecchi with 10 min episodes although it's a low effort kind of anime it still delivers in what it intends to which is comedic ecchi'ness. There's not much in terms of plot and development but that's just how it's meant to be for this with nearly everything bad happening and then being exaggerated ontop of that. While it's not the best out there, if you're looking for a shortbut funny anime this would be your go to or if you want the level above then Interspecies Reviewers will be a greater choice eventhough the company who brought that title didn't know what goldmine they were buying to stream onto their platform which in turn upset wimps so the chance of a season 2 of reviewers is slim and at the same time how Peter grill ended gives it a chance to have a 3rd season although because of the audience and how that's very small it's unlikely but not impossible since we did just get this 2nd season. So if you're looking for something short and comedically ecchi then this will be your friend. Unless you're under 18 then stay tf away, or atleast a pubescent guy since I can't really talk much since I watched ecchi's when I was younger. Watch at your own disclosure.
So what is there to say about Peter Grill... not much to be honest, so here is my opinion on this show. This is my first review, but I felt like I had to put my opinion out there. Story/plot: 2 So the plot of Peter Grill is that he is the strongest man in the world in love with a woman that is immature and has daddy issues. So all he wants is to be with the main heroin but instead other women want to ride him. The plot wants to set up a funny setting but tbh. it dos not succeed. Even the end istotally unsatisfying imo. Characters: 3 There are no good characters in this story and how can they be all we really know about the characters is that they are horny. The show never really tries to make any character really appealing in any other way then there breast design. Any characters story episodes are just a failed attempts to get a giggle out of the audience. The character design is the only thing that isn't entirely bad. Art and animation: 3 Not much to say here other then in some nude scenes the art isn't anything to write home about and there is barely any animation to begin with. The ''fight'' scenes are more impressive if you skip them. Sound: 5 Average imo. nothing really good to say about it. You could nit-pick but not really worth the time. Entertainment and enjoyment: 2 For me this show was a chore to watch. The comedy wasn't funny ... more like cliché, something a 14 year old might embarrassingly giggle at, at times. Although the episodes are more or less 7 min it felt like a eternity to watch. The only reason I saw the entire thing is because I did it in one sitting and it takes less then a hour to watch the entire thing. So overall would I recommend this show to anyone ... no. It's a R rated +18 show that has nothing interesting or really funny about it. I wouldn't even recommend it as a guilty pleasure because imo. it doesn't even deliver in the R rated expects. It's a show written for pre-teens with a +18 rating slapped onto it. Ty for reading hope this saves a few people from wasting there time with this.
Let me kick things off by saying this is a great anime. If youâre into comedy that doesnât pull punches and loves to flirt with the edges of good taste, Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan: Super Extra is an absolute treat. Characters: Relatable Chaos in Motion The characters here are a total blastâbelievable, realistic, and packed with personality. Take Peter Grill himself: heâs this big-shot warrior torn between staying loyal to his fiancĂ©e, Luvelia, and fending off a parade of women who are very eager to get close to him. His internal battles are goldâconstantly wrestling with temptation while trying to be the good guy. Thenthereâs the ladies: the orc sisters, the elven vegan, and moreâall with their own distinct vibes and motives that keep things lively. One standout moment is in episode three, where Peterâs stuck in a ridiculous predicament (no spoilers, but letâs just say itâs peak awkward comedy). Their reactions and choices feel grounded in their quirks, making the chaos relatable and insanely entertaining. Art: Eye-Candy with Style The art? Honestly, pretty good stuff! The character designs are a highlightâeach woman has a unique look that screams her personality, from fiery hair to cool, elegant features. The animation flows nicely, especially in the more... letâs call them intimate scenes, where it really shines. The colors pop, giving the whole show a vibrant, playful energy. Itâs not going to win awards for groundbreaking visuals like some high-budget films, but for a comedy harem anime, itâs more than appealingâitâs downright fun to watch. Story/Plot: A Wild Ride with Plenty to Unpack Oh man, the story has lots of plotâand I donât just mean the fanservice kind (though thereâs plenty of that). This is a harem comedy with a twist: Peterâs the worldâs strongest warrior who just wants a quiet life with Luvelia, but every other woman wants him to sire their kids. Itâs absurd, self-aware, and leans hard into subverting typical harem clichĂ©s. Each episode throws a new curveball his way, from sneaky seductions to outright brawls, and the results are hilarious. Beyond the laughs, thereâs some surprising depthâPeter and Luveliaâs quieter moments hint at real heart beneath the madness. Itâs not just mindless ecchi; itâs a rollercoaster that knows how to balance humor and charm. Negative Things: Short and Sweet (Maybe Too Sweet) If thereâs a downside, itâs that the episodes are way too short. Youâre just getting hooked, and bamâitâs over. Itâs a bummer because the showâs so dang fun, but it also leaves you hungry for more. Another nitpick? The humor can occasionally tip into cringe territoryâeven for a show this boldâwhich might not land for everyone. Still, if youâre here for Peter Grill, youâre probably ready to roll with it. Overall: A Must-Watch for the Bold and Fun-Loving I canât recommend this anime enough to anyone who loves a good time and isnât shy about some spicy fanservice. To me, Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan: Super Extra is the epitome of what makes anime a blast when it embraces its wild side. Itâs got that same unapologetic energy I adore in Redo of Healerâit knows its lane and owns it. So, dive in, leave your seriousness at the door, and enjoy the ride!
I had to write a review to defend this tasty crap :) I understand the bad notation BUT If you are a male and bored with the generic romcom with the beyond shy MC and wait all the season for a crappy possible last second kiss on the roof of the high school or worst when it end with big flash back of the mc since he was young to today and let you imagine what will happen next and "the end" etc you should watch this ! first, this 2nd season start with the best previous season summaryever ! it say it all and if you accept what the show is about, see it in parodique mode, you'll enjoy it I did and that's why i gave a nice 7 to this anime. ( my MAL average notation is 5,5 ) The global production ( graphics, animation , sound, character design etc ) is good average compared to other 2022 productions. My Anime notation are based on enjoyment and I don't care if it's cliché or if this story was made 100times. it's ecchi but not porn animation. compare to many other anime, the MC is doing much more sexual things but you'll see less and It's stay funny and not a hentai or porn anime. Jap anime is now a mass production industry and I prefer by far this kind of generic anime than the one with a MC you wanna kill because he to stupid and nothing really happened I hope they'll make more funny anime like this
