The Tomozaki-kun specials were pretty simple and short so I'll review it simple and short Story 6/10 Art 8/10 Sound 7/10 Character 9/10 Enjoyment 7/10 Overall 7/10 If you liked the Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki then I would recommend you watch the specials. Both specials combined add up to a 25 min episode. The first episode is just Tomozaki and friends hanging out at Fuuka's resturant. The second episode is a backstory about how Tama became friends with Mimimi and Aoi. I liked the end of the episode where they light up fireworks and yell ''Tamaya!'' Like I said before would watch if you liked the series.

Informative review Narratives follow as: Ep 1: Tomozaki and his friend's spend some time at a restaurant Kikuchi happens to work in. They were having a blast most of the time saying general gossip, at the end, there was some Tomozaki and Kikuchi interaction (via text) if you want some of that. Ep 2: Follows Hanabi, Aoi, and Minami, flashbacking to their past together of how they met. Then having a good time watching the fireworks. These are more add-ons to the story. They are quite enjoyable, worth your time if you seek more content considering their time efficiency alongside. These specials also manage to retain their quality fromthe actual parent story, so I would imagine people would give off a similar reaction to these specials as you did with whatever you thought about the main story. I suppose these specials do well in deepening characters giving more insight as to who they are, but again, it comes under side-content, no idea if this is even canon. If you just have nothing to watch and you've already seen the main story, I would give these a try. Generally harmless, and do a good job at showing something more of these high schoolers lives in a fun fashion.
I made it pretty clear in my review of the main series that I only liked the show for it's Smash bros elements. Strip all that away and you're left with a very bland, by-the-numbers harem anime with a slice of white-bread protagonist and a crappy tsundere who won't admit to herself that she has feelings, and a bunch of other girls that are just set-dressing. I hope that in season 2 the show can get back to something actually interesting with the game aspects, but I don't see it happening. I think any further entries in the franchise will probably get middling reviews from me,so 7's or 8 if they're lucky. These did nothing interesting that wasn't already covered in the main series either, so they seemed doubly irrelevant. No smash? Belongs in the trash.
