Each note from the instruments is represented by a geometric shape in the animation; while these shapes move in sync with the song, they also form the parts that create the subway itself. (Source: Vimeo)

In terms of music visualizations, nothing can ever beat the legendary Windows Media Player visualizations. Though this video does a good job of creating aesthetic visuals for mellow and progressive music. Chikatetsu no Doutai (Dynamics of the Subway) is a visual representation of musical instruments performing repeated actions as they are played, and they are manipulated to form a train as it rides past many other shapes and patterns as the viewer mellows out and relaxes to the progressive music. Watching this, I feel relaxed, like I've been on a journey as the sounds of drums, piano and synthwave forming the pathway to wherever this video leadsto. The visuals are minimal, but they do their job really well. I have no complaints for that. The music as also good as well. Nothing too flashy or extravagant. Worth listening to if you have a few minutes to spare. Good MV. 6/10.
