For years, 14-year-old Masaki Hinaoka showed no interest in surfing, despite it being his best friend Nalu Tanaka's favorite pastime. But his mind changes in the blink of an eye when he encounters a blond boy surfing at sunrise. He finds the boy beautiful and graceful, awakening unfamiliar feelings that draw him toward the surfboard and ride the waves himself. The newcomer, Shou Akitsuki, gladly helps Masaki experience his first surfboarding feats. Although he cannot swim, Masaki exceeds his friends' expectations and shows incredible capability early on. This earns him a spot in a local competition, where he gets the chance to befriend other skilled surfers with unique styles and personalities, fueling his drive to improve. When a sudden tragedy strikes, however, all seems hopeless—but with the help of his newfound friends, Masaki continues to strive for success and to conquer the wildest of waves. I try my best to avoid spoilers :) Its fun because at first the main character do not like to wave and suddenly he watch shou wave and hooked to try it. Their relationship is very fun and enjoyable. And when shou is **** i do not like when the main character recap the moment with shou ahahahhah because i can believe the truth. Then the main character continue their journey with his wave friends to reach the world. Worth to watch and dont forget to bring tissue hahahaha also sorry for my bad English this is my first time write the review
Would someone really start surfing after watching this subtle animation? It seems that Takaharu Ozaki, the director of a genre he has no knowledge of and no interest in, has created not only this but also a subtle animation. This director pretends to be thinking about something, but it's clear that he's actually the type of person who doesn't think about anything. I am sure he will rip it up as an art director from now on. In a bad way, that's to be expected. At least he didn't direct the original anime. And he is not the kind of person you would expect to become an animation director in the future.
