Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3 DVD/BD specials. They are chibi parody shorts; one video was included on each of the DVD/BDs for a total of seven. Each video contained three stories (essentially chibi parody short episode 38–59) which continued the chibi parody story from the previous chibi parody specials included on the DVD/BDs of the previous seasons.

If you've made it this far to AoT's specials, you already know of the infamous and overslept Chibi shorts that parody all sorts of happenings from the parent show, mocks the characters, and cracks dark jokes that feel too close to home. I think unless you're a completionist that wants to see everything there is or a fanatic AoT stan that just has to go through everything, you're probably not going to ever watch this, however, in both cases, nothing special might come out of this. The humor is very straight forward and 1 dimensional, even doll at times. It tries too hard to make somethingout of every scene it parodies, but at the end of the day, it's just another special to distribute along side the Blu-Ray release.

Another chibi special that adds absolutely nothing. Here we go again: another one of those chibi-style specials of a well-known work, which seems to exist only to fill space or keep the franchise "alive" between seasons. I'll start by making it clear that I'm not a fan of this type of approach. I can appreciate the chibi aesthetic in isolated illustrations or quick extra content, but turning it into a full episode almost never works for me. The animation, honestly, is quite weak. The style is already naturally simplified, but here it seems taken to the extreme of laziness. At several points, it feels like you're watchingstatic drawings being slightly moved, as if they were cutouts displaced on the screen. It lacks fluidity, it lacks energy, it lacks life. Instead of something dynamic and expressive, we have something stiff and without visual impact. The intention is clearly humorous, but it doesn't work as well as it should. The jokes are predictable, often relying only on the typical visual exaggeration of chibi, and rarely go beyond that. I smiled a few times, but nothing that really justified the time invested. It seems like the kind of content that tries to be funny all the time, but ends up not being memorable at any point. Another problem is the complete lack of purpose. It doesn't develop characters, doesn't expand the universe, doesn't bring anything relevant to the main story. It's the kind of special you can skip without missing absolutely anything and you probably won't even remember it exists after a while. In the end, it's totally dispensable material. It's not offensively bad, but it also doesn't offer any concrete reason to be watched. Still, incredibly, it manages to be more bearable than some recent productions that try to take themselves seriously and fail miserably (One Punch Man 3 cough cough). I don't recommend it. Final score: 4/10. A animação, sinceramente, é bem fraca. Nota final: 4/10.
This special is 7 two minute episodes with each episode containing three 30 second short skits. The other 30 seconds are the introduction and voice actor credits. These are Chibi animations about the third season, in a similar style to the earlier Attack on Titan picture drama. This time however the skits are less repetitive and with slightly better humor. The voice acting and sound are good, the animation is alright as far as Chibi animations go. Overall I don't feel like this is worth watching, it doesn't add anything to the main series and the humor is pretty hit or miss. Unless you likechibi animations or find the suggestion that a titan can slip on a banana peel to be enjoyable humor, this probably isn't worth watching.
