Music video for Lon's cover of Sobakasu by the band Judy and Mary. The original song was the 1st opening theme song to Rurouni Kenshin. Lon's cover was in honor of their "Lon Kaba-J-POP ZOO-" album going on sale the following day.

This is a cover of the first Rurouni Kenshin opening, Sobakasu by Judy and Mary. A complete failure of a music video totally unnecessary... The original opening song was one of the best but this cover totally ruined it specially the female voice was terrible it completely ruined the vibe... The visuals were nothing specially, they were plain and boring... it isn't worth listening to... but if you want to then get on YouTube and search "Sobakasu by Judy and Mary" Though I don't recommend it.. it will be one of the most irritating music you will ever hear just like Justin Bieber's 'Baby Baby' lol both candestroy your ears and can haunt you for years to come....
I'm writing this review for everyone who clicked on this entry for a nostalgia trip and was disappointed in one way or another. For a short background of the singer, She is an Utaite named Lon (ろん) that covers many songs from other artists or vocaloids. A lot of people don't understand that this cover isn't a tribute to Jude and Mary's legacy or Rurouni Kenshin rather it was chosen because it referenced animals in the lyrics. Although I can't say that it wasn't chosen for its popularity. Every song in this album is a popular song one way or another that references animals inthe lyrics. Another notable song that she covers in the album is "Blue Bird" by Ikimono-gatari, third opening for Naruto Shippuuden. I do agree that the jumbled 'wubs' wasn't the best decision in the world however, I did enjoy the singing that's quite on par with her content in general. How some people received it as "nails on a chalkboard", I assume they dislike it because it doesn't fit their niche or did not mesh well with their nostalgia factor but the vocal range of the song in wasn't much different than the original. Overall, I believe it holds its own and is a great cover. If you liked the song (aside from the 'wub' , feel free to check out her other songs. If you disliked it, thanks for giving it a shot.
This is a cover of the first Rurouni Kenshin opening, Sobakasu by Judy and Mary. The visuals were very pleasant to look at, the singing and song however, they weren't all that great, just wasn't really into it. The singing is worse than the actual song itself, not that the voice is bad just that it isn't meant for this song and that the singing isn't really my cup of tea let's just say. There really is no story to this as compared to a lot of music videos that have come out, shelter or the music video for the anime fireworks, in both of those theyhave a story you can follow and great visuals with great music. I feel like the characters had more depth even in the short time they are shown, although I won't lie and say I somewhat did enjoy it. But if you like this, seriously go check out shelter and the fireworks music video they are masterpieces.
