A promotional video for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, titled Star Wars: Saigo no Jedai in Japan. The video re-imagines the Star Wars cast in BB-8's cute design and recaps the events of the previous film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, titled Star Wars: Force no Kakusei in Japan.

Mixed Feelings

This short is just a promotional commercial adapting Star Wars episode VII: The Force Awakens, however in a mediocre way, if episode VII is not even good, this version is worse, the designs (apparently based on BB8) are ugly and the animation is not very fluid. This animation does not serve as an independent product, if you do not know who these characters are, you will not understand anything. It's not the worst I've seen, but with the potential of Star Wars and Japanese animation this has a lot of potential wasted. Even so, if you are a fan of Star Wars and the anime you should seethis short film. May the force be with you young Padawan.

Story 6/10 I didn't really like the story (of the movie) so I'm not gonna like it here either, they show the key moments of the movie in this short, its so dumb because this is not good as a trailer because they spoil it all and its bad as a recap because its all poorly explained to maintain a cute aesthetic. Art 5/10 At first sight I found it all really cute, everyone looks like BB8, but all the other art was gross and bad. Sound 3/10 I love star wars soundtracks they are always either so beautiful or very hype, that being said this anime has none ofthat, plus every few seconds theres a small screen saying something like "part 2" and it has this terrible clicking noise. Character 6/10 This short has all the important characters from the force awakens movie, I hated them then and I hate them now, new characters are boring (mainly Finn) and old characters are ruined. Enjoyment 5/10 Look I am a huge star wars fan Ill always enjoy everything they release to an extend, what this short has going for it is the randomness and silly moments which did make me chuckle once or twice, other then that I don't like it. Overall 3/10 You should not watch this even if you are a star wars fan is what i would say if this was 20 min long but since its 2 mins you might as well, you wont like it but its more star wars content at the end of the day. If you are not a star wars fan, please do not watch it, it will spoil a lot and you won't like it in any way, shape or form

The story was really bad and the movie overall is a dumbsterfire. The characters are either boring or old ones who are not like how they where in the old movies. Disney really needs to stop making star wars movies and making boring and dumb characters just to sell merch to little kids, I like how star wars is more appealing to kids now but that doesn't mean they have to make lightsabers work like glowing baseball bat, killing old characters so they have room for the new shit characters. I hate how they give the characters random powers and say that it's because ofthe force. The animation is nothing to write home about, it's weird how they all are balls that make droid sounds and doesn't explain what's going on, but than again neither does the actual movie.
